The Kaizen
How they did it legendary Japanese employers like Konosuke Matsushita, founder of Panasonic, the brothers Kashio, founders of Casio, or Sōichirō Deep, founder of Deep, for, out of nowhere, create multinationals that are presents all over the world?. They achieved it through what they call “Kaizen“, that is not more than a healthy obsession in the continuous improvement.
“Today better that yesterday, better morning that today!” It is the base of the milenaria philosophy Kaizen, and his meaning is that it always is possible do better the things. In the Japanese culture is implanted the concept that any day has to manage without a true improvement.
- If a worker that ended up his first working time tightening 1.000 bolts, tightened, each new day, a bolt more than the anterior day, in a year, of 220 business days, would end up tightening 1.000 + 220= 1.220 bolts, that is to say with so alone tighten a bolt more than the anterior day, would go up his productivity in 22% in a year
Metafóricamente Speaking I try to not to go me to sleep each day without having tightened a bolt more, that is to say without having done a new contribution to my work, by small that it was, to improve it.
